Route 66 (my first band)

My first band, Route 66 formed in Sydney in the mid 70's. The original line-up was myself, John Collins, Mark Fairhurst and John Gadsden - shortly to be joined by vocalist, Donna Tuckwell.
We were a blues/rock outfit and played up and down the east coast. Many line up changes ensued.
 Electric Rose (my duo)

My wife Catherine and I a
are lucky enough to enjoy making music together. We perform as the duo, Electric Rose at a local cafe acoustically and we also enjoying doing electric party gigs. We always include the song Route 66 in our repertoire!

John Collins builds and repairs electric guitar pickups to authentic vintage specifications, using original, vintage correct materials and scatterwinding techniques to re-create the sounds that the early 50's and 60's pickups are famous for. John's in Australia and he does a meticulous job. I can highly recommend him.

 Wampler Pedals

No single element that I've changed in my own guitar rig over 35 years, has made as much difference to my sound and made me smile as consistently as the various Wampler Overdrive/Distortions that I've owned. Brian Wampler runs a small but dedicated company that make a huge variety of guitar effects pedals.

Jaykco Guitar Straps are beautiful, comfortable and quirky all at once. I love them and have definitely had to buy more than one!
